Rombauer applies their crowd-pleasing house style to Zinfandel and, predictably, nails it. The 2022 is ripe and plush — dark cherry, blackberry, vanilla, and baking spice with velvety tannins and an approachably warm finish. Comfort wine in the best possible sense.
