More than seven decades on the Sunset Strip and a belief that buying a bottle should still be personal.
Los Angeles has changed a great deal since our family opened Almor Wine & Spirits in 1955. The Sunset Strip has changed with it. Through all those years, Almor has remained an independent neighborhood store built around a simple idea: choose good bottles, know what you're selling, treat people well, and help customers find something they'll be happy to take home.

e're not a warehouse, not an algorithm, and not an app. Walk up to our counter and tell us what you're having for dinner, what you're celebrating, what you want to spend, or simply what you like. We'll help you find the right bottle.
Some customers have been coming to Almor for decades. Others discover us for the first time because they need a bottle for dinner or learn that we will delivery directly to their door. Either way, we hope they will come back.

Within our neighborhood delivery area, we will bring your order directly from Almor to your door. At the same price you would find in the store.

Bob and Mary Michiels purchased Almor in 1955 from Al & Morrie. In 1988 I purchased the store from my parents. What I love about this business has not changed.
I believe a neighborhood store should know it's customers, know it's products, and take the time to help someone find the right bottle. Whether you've shopped with us for decades or you're walking through the door for the first time, that's what I want Almor to be.
