Meinklang's 'Graupert' (meaning 'scruffy' or 'wild' in Burgenland dialect) is an orange wine made from untrained, unpruned Pinot Gris vines that grow completely free-form on the biodynamic estate. Two weeks of skin maceration creates the wine's distinctive amber hue, with citrus peel, dried apricot, earthy spice, and a wild, savory length. Truly unlike any other Pinot Gris you've tasted.

Wine Details:Grapes: 100% Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder, from wild, unpruned "Graupert" vines)Bottle Size: 750mlFarming / Practices: Demeter-certified biodynamic, Burgenland, Austria (Meinklang, Michlits family); orange-style skin-contact winemaking, 10 days maceration in steel tanks, aged in steel and concrete eggs, zero additives.
