Linie Aquavit

Linie is Norway's most celebrated aquavit and one of the most unusual spirits in the world — every bottle crosses the equator twice in ex-Oloroso sherry casks aboard Norwegian ships before it's released. The tradition began accidentally in 1805 when casks sent to the East Indies came back significantly improved by the voyage, and Linie has honored it ever since. The combination of caraway, dill, and sea voyage maturation produces a spirit with remarkable smoothness, complexity, and a story no other aquavit can claim.
