La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 24
Established in 1979 and long the benchmark for cool-climate California Chardonnay, La Crema built its name on the fog-cooled vineyards of the Sonoma Coast — and this is the wine most people mean when they say they love it. The 2024 is drawn from cool coastal sites, 90% barrel-fermented with 85% malolactic fermentation and aged on stirred lees for its signature richness. Meyer lemon, pear, and white flowers lead to crisp apple, golden peach, and pineapple, with a graham-cracker-crust vein of toasty depth and juicy, balanced acidity. Vibrant, rich, and made for buttery seafood — cracked crab, lobster, scallops — or a simple roast chicken.
