Alpine freshness from Israel's volcanic north. Golan Heights Winery — the Katzrin pioneer that put modern Israeli wine on the map in the 1980s — grows the Mount Hermon range in the coolest vineyards in the country: high-altitude plots on rocky volcanic basalt in the shadow of snow-capped Mount Hermon itself. The 2024 White blends Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, cold-fermented in stainless steel to keep every bit of their fruit and florals intact: white peach, citrus, melon, and blossom over a crisp, clean, bone-dry finish at an easy 13%. Certified kosher and kosher for Passover (non-mevushal), it's the house pour of countless Shabbat tables for good reason — and simply a well-made, refreshing white by any standard. Chill it for salads, grilled fish, hummus spreads, or a warm evening.
