Hermon Red 24
The everyday red that introduced a generation to Israeli wine. Named for the snow-capped peak that towers over the Golan, Mount Hermon Red comes from Golan Heights Winery's high-elevation vineyards on rocky volcanic soil, where cool mountain air keeps the classic Bordeaux varieties — Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot — fresh and aromatic. Fermented in stainless steel and bottled young, the 2024 earned 92 points from Wine Enthusiast: raspberry and red cherry dusted with pencil shavings, cranberry, Darjeeling tea, and dried herbs through a savory, fruit-filled finish. Kosher for Passover and endlessly versatile — rotisserie chicken, grilled lamb, a really good burger, or a wedge of brie.
