Drambuie

Legend holds that Bonnie Prince Charlie gave his personal elixir recipe to a MacKinnon clansman after fleeing the Battle of Culloden in 1746, and Drambuie's name — from the Gaelic 'an dram buidheach,' or 'the drink that satisfies' — has stuck ever since.
