Cocchi Americano

Made in Asti, Piedmont to Giulio Cocchi's original 1891 recipe, Cocchi Americano is the modern bartender's answer to the long-lost Kina Lillet. A Moscato d'Asti wine base is aromatized with gentian, cinchona bark, and citrus, giving honeyed stone fruit and orange up front and an elegant quinine bitterness on the finish. Essential in a proper Vesper or Corpse Reviver #2, and lovely on its own with ice, soda, and an orange slice.
