Zweigelt in pink, from the family that championed the grape. Christina Netzl grew up in the vines of her family's estate in Göttlesbrunn — her father Franz was one of Carnuntum's early Zweigelt evangelists — and her own "Christina" line applies the natural playbook to the house specialty. The 2025 Rosé comes from certified-organic Zweigelt on the red gravel and loess of the Holzweg vineyard: hand-harvested, a few hours on the skins, direct-pressed to stainless steel, raised on its fine lees, and bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. It pours a delicately cloudy salmon-pink and bursts with raspberry, strawberry, and forest berries over a lively, mineral frame, finishing dry with a salty snap — good enough for 92 points from Austria's Falstaff. Vegan-friendly, endlessly food-flexible: smoked trout, grilled shrimp, charcuterie, Thai curry, or a warm afternoon, no food required.
