Cascahuin Plata 48 750ml
Tequila with nothing taken out and nothing added. From the Rosales family's Cascahuín distillery — El Arenal, in the Tequila Valley since 1904 — Plata 48 is their tribute to founder Salvador Rosales Briseño, made the way the old valley houses did: mature Blue Weber slow-cooked in brick ovens, roller-milled, fermented in open cement and steel tanks, double-distilled in copper-coiled pot stills — then bottled straight at still strength, 48%, with no dilution, no filtration, and zero additives. Keeping the agave oils intact gives it a weighted, almost silky mouthfeel rare in blancos: intense cooked agave, black pepper, and fresh mint up front, opening into thyme, saline minerality, fresh-baked bread, and honeyed warmth on a long, dry finish. Limited to under 2,500 bottles per production run. The purist's pour — neat in a copita, or in the most serious Tommy's Margarita you'll ever make.
