Brander Sauvignon Blanc 25
Fred Brander planted his estate in the Santa Ynez Valley in 1975 and has spent fifty consecutive vintages proving the grape's potential here — the winery produces one flagship bottling and five distinct cuvées of Sauvignon Blanc alone, with winemaker Fabian Bravo now at the helm. This flagship draws from the 43-acre estate and trusted neighboring vineyards in the Los Olivos District, fermented cool and clean to preserve its signature snap. The 2025 is fresh and light on its feet: green apple, lemon zest, and honeydew with a grassy herbal edge, brisk acidity, and flinty mineral accents scrubbing the palate clean. Built for goat cheese, Caesar salad, oysters, and warm afternoons.
