Created in 1937 by a bartender at New York's famed 21 Club who kept mixing Bénédictine with brandy, B&B bottles that exact pairing pre-made: roughly 60% Bénédictine to 40% fine French cognac. Drier and more robust than Bénédictine alone, it remains a favorite way to end a meal.
