Amarula Cream Liqueur

Amarula is South Africa's answer to Irish cream, made from the fruit of the marula tree — a wild African fruit that ripens in late summer and which elephants will travel significant distances to consume when ripe. The fruit is distilled and aged in French oak before blending with fresh cream, producing a lush, tropical, and slightly exotic liqueur with caramel, vanilla, and the distinctive wild fruit character of the marula. Nothing else tastes quite like it.
