Paitin is one of Barbaresco's most respected traditional estates, farming old Nebbiolo vines on the Serraboella and Starda hillsides with organic principles and minimal intervention in the cellar. The 2022 — from a warm, precocious vintage — shows Barbaresco at its most approachable and perfumed: rose, cherry, delicate spice, and the silky yet persistent tannins that separate Barbaresco from its more muscular neighbor, Barolo.
