Pago De Los Capellanes Joven 2013
Pago de los Capellanes has been described as the modern face of premium Ribera del Duero. The winery is located near the village of Pedrosa de Duero nestled deep in the heart of the Burgos region, where some of the finest fruit is sourced. The indigenous Tinto Fino, also known a Tempranillo, is the sole grape planted at the estate. They have continued to expand year after year with plantings of only the very best clones. Producing 5 different bottling, each wine possesses its own distinctive structure and elegance.
Made with Tempranillo grapes (100%). Visually, the wine has a clean, bright cherry colour. It has an intense floral and red forest fruit bouquet with a mild lactic note and hints of vanilla left by its exposure to the oak (150 days). In the mouth, the texture is full, elegant, long lasting and velvety, without losing any of the intensity of young wines from the Ribera del Duero region.
