Old World Winery's 'L'Auréate' is a skin-contact Chardonnay from the organically farmed Nagomi Vineyard in Russian River Valley — foot-stomped whole cluster, 48 hours on skins, then nine months on fine lees in neutral barrels. Complex fruit tea with golden apple, tropical citrus, and lovely defined structure. One of the coolest natural winemakers in Sonoma County, period.
