Oban is one of Scotland's smallest and most historically significant distilleries — squeezed into the coastal town of Oban with almost no room to expand since John and Hugh Stevenson founded it in 1794. The 14-Year is a beautifully maritime single malt: sea salt, citrus peel, dried fruit, and a light heathery smokiness that reflects the distillery's position between the Highlands and the Islands.
