Marie Brizard Anisette

Marie Brizard has been producing anise liqueur in Bordeaux since 1755, making her one of the first commercial liqueur producers in France. Her Anisette is a sweeter, lighter alternative to pastis — clean anise with a gentle herbal sweetness and none of the pungency of the stronger spirits. A classic ingredient in Cafe Brulot and an elegant aperitif over ice with a splash of water.
