Lieu Dit Cabernet Franc 23

Justin Willett's Lieu Dit project is one of Santa Barbara's most exciting low-intervention projects, focused almost entirely on Loire-inspired grapes. The 2023 Cabernet Franc from organically-farmed Happy Canyon Vineyard is bright and aromatic — crushed red berry, mint, white pepper, and dried herbs with native yeast complexity and a refreshing, herb-edged finish. Made to be drunk with a slight chill.
