Kikusui Perfect Snow Nigori
$9.30Price
Perfect Snow earns its nickname honestly — it's Japan's best-selling nigori, made by pouring undiluted genshu through only a coarse filter so the rice particles stay in. The result looks like fresh snowmelt and drinks like dessert: full-bodied, distinctly sweet, with white peach and a touch of coconut riding underneath a surprisingly crisp finish given the 21% ABV. Made with Niigata's Gohyakumangoku rice by Kikusui, a brewery that's been at this since 1881, it's built to be shaken, poured cold, and enjoyed with something spicy enough to stand up to it.
