Concentrated fruit, allowing a very flavorful, well structured, and finely balanced wine. This Hometown is elegant, yet fleshy and filled with compact dark fruits and ripe pear. It has a substantial mouth feel, and a long finish. The early bottling of Hometown, with its emphasis on pure fruit flavors, is always the bellwether to the vintage.
