Dauvergne & Ranvier are one of the northern Rhône's most celebrated négociant houses, working closely with grower partners across the valley from Côte-Rôtie to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Their Granite et Galets is a 100% Syrah from Crozes-Hermitage — sourced from a selection of plots on both granite and alluvial soils, vinified purely on the fruit without oak aging. The 2022 is fresh and precise: red cherry, raspberry, cassis, wild thyme, and a saline mineral persistence that's quintessentially northern Rhône Syrah at its most approachable.
