Etter Distillery in Zug, Switzerland has been producing fruit spirits since 1870 and their Kirsch — cherry eau de vie — is among the finest expressions of the style in the world. Completely unaged and crystal clear, it tastes purely and intensely of ripe, fresh cherry with no wood influence obscuring the fruit. Essential for a proper Swiss fondue, and extraordinary sipped slowly from a small glass after a meal.
