Domaine Chavet 2023

Domaine Chavet has been in Menetou-Salon since the 17th century—one of those estates where the terroir knowledge runs so deep it just shows up in the glass. The Clos de Coquin is their single-vineyard flagship: 100% Sauvignon Blanc from a south-facing clay site, richer and more opulent than the appellation norm, aged partially in Loire oak. Yellow fruit, tropical notes, smoky minerality. A compelling alternative to Sancerre at a fraction of the price.
