Craggy Range is one of New Zealand's most acclaimed estates, and 'Te Kahu' is their Bordeaux-style blend from Gimblett Gravels in Hawke's Bay — the warm, gravelly sub-region that ripens Cabernet beautifully in an otherwise cool-climate country. This 2011, now generously aged, has developed lovely complexity: cassis, cedar, dried herb, and silky, resolved tannins. A fascinating and mature New Zealand Cabernet.
