Corton is the only Grand Cru appellation in the Côte de Beaune for red wine — and Bouchard Père & Fils, one of Burgundy's oldest and most respected maisons, makes a terrific one. The 2020 is a warm, generous vintage that produced deeply concentrated Pinot Noir with dark cherry fruit, earthy complexity, and a long, spice-driven finish. This is serious Burgundy at its most powerful.
