Ahari Rioja 21

Ahari is a small, quality-focused estate in the Rioja Alavesa highlands, farming organically on the limestone-clay soils characteristic of this northern subzone. The 2021 shows Tempranillo from a good, balanced vintage: red and dark berry fruit, balanced oak integration, earthy depth, and the elegant structure that distinguishes Rioja Alavesa from the fuller, more exuberant styles of the neighboring subzones.
